2021 was an important year for the 3RCC as it was the first of a new funding period stretching to the end of 2024. Thanks to the continued commitment and support by its funders, the 3RCC can now further develop the nationally coordinated efforts to advance the 3Rs in Switzerland. The most important milestone of the year was the definition of the Centre’s long-term strategic framework, where we envision the 3RCC as the driving force for 3Rs advancement for improved animal welfare and better science in Switzerland. The strategic framework now guides the development of the activities under the four mandates service areas: research, education, monitoring and communication.
